Community Description:
The Seaforth Highlanders of Canada are Vancouver’s Infantry Regiment and the Seaforth Armouries has served as their home since the mid 1930’s. On May 6, 2017, the Commander of 39 Canadian Brigade, Colonel Dave Awalt, hosted the dedication ceremony of the LAV III Monument. The monument serves as special recognition of approximately 500 members of 39 Brigade who served in Afghanistan and to the two members who died in that conflict.
